Amanda Sopchak is a Planner in the Energy Management program area of the Central New York Regional Planning and Development Board and coordinator for the Central New York Energy Challenge. Amanda also works with municipalities throughout the five counties of Central New York (Cayuga, Cortland, Madison, Onondaga, and Oswego) to compile greenhouse gas inventories and create climate action plans.
Amanda’s focus is to make saving energy fun and easy, and help Central New Yorkers save energy and money in their homes and businesses.
Amanda provides materials and information about the Energy Challenge, including answering your energy questions and helping you organize Energy Challenge campaigns. She gives FREE workshops and presentations, writes newsletter articles, provides pictures, and generally does anything that you will need around the Energy Challenge.
